x-ray and laboratory
Our dental centre believes in offering patients the very highest quality and safest dental equipment, which is one of the reasons why our dental x-ray are taken using low dose digital x-rays. This ensures you are kept safe during treatment, and enables our dentists to gain the maximum amount of information from receiving detailed and accurate x-rays. They are used to plan root canal surgery, as well as tooth extractions, and they are useful for planning orthodontic treatment.
Dental Laboratory Technology is both a science and an art. Since each dental patient's needs are different, the duties of a dental laboratory technician are comprehensive and varied. Although dental technicians seldom work directly with patients, except under the direction of a licensed dentist, they are valuable members of the dental care team. They work directly with dentists by following detailed written instructions and using impressions (molds) of the patient's teeth or oral soft tissues. Dental laboratory technology requires the skill and touch of an artist. Our technicians are very creative when they make prostheses.
